Privacy, in plain language.
SwipeIn is built so that we couldn’t track you even if we wanted to. Here’s exactly what that means.
What we store
- Your account (name, email)
- The places you add
- Who you share with
- Your current presence — at most the last 48 hours
What we never store
- Your location or coordinates
- Your movement history
- Presence history beyond 48 hours
- Your contacts
How arrival works
Your phone detects — on the device — that you’ve arrived at an office you added. It tells our server one thing: “at BG office: yes.” Coordinates never leave your phone, and only people you’ve mutually agreed with can see that yes.
Deleting your data
Delete your account in the app — Settings → Delete account. It takes effect immediately and removes everything above. There are no backups of your presence to purge, because we never kept any.
The formal part (GDPR)
Data controller: Oleg Koptev, the individual developer of SwipeIn (no legal entity has been formed yet). Legal basis for all processing: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in the app. You have the right to access, correct, export, and erase your data, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Contact: support@swipein.app.
